Four Rivers Early Learning and Parenting Hub works in collaboration with partners across communities in Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, Wasco and Wheeler Counties to connect families with young children to helpful resources.
Our Mission
Develop and implement a coordinated approach, utilizing community strengths, meaningful relationships and collaborative partnerships, to leverage resources for Kindergarten readiness and enhanced early learning outcomes.
Support existing care and education programs and their growth
Expand early care and education program proficiency and/or capacity
Align to improve planning, communication and outcomes
Connect families to resources that are specific to their needs
Our Vision
A community where children thrive in stable and attached families, enter kindergarten ready to thrive and engage in meaningful learning, and to live in communities where people work together with intention and purpose for the greater good.

Family Leadership Council
The Family Leadership Council advises the Hub to make sure programs meet the real needs of parents and families. They share ideas and feedback from the community, helping to shape services for children. Their input ensures that our efforts are focused on what families truly need.
Careers
Career opportunities in early learning and education are available for those who love working with children. Positions include teachers, childcare providers, and support staff. These roles help shape young minds and make a positive impact on families. There are many paths to grow in this field and gain valuable experience while helping kids learn.
